These terms and conditions are set out in English only to explain who we are, what to expect during the process of purchasing from us and what to do if you are experiencing any problems. Products
- Our products may vary slightly from pictures due to display resolutions of other devices. We have tried to display and describe products as accurate as possible, but your product may vary slightly.
- Some products may be sold with imperfect packaging. These items are guaranteed to be new, unused and fully functional despite the condition of the box. By purchasing these items, you acknowledge and accept the condition of the packaging as described. Refunds or exchanges based on packaging condition alone will not be accepted.
- We reserve the right to change product pricing at any time.
- Tasting notes are an opinion of our whisky expect here at Against The Grain Scotland. Whisky is subjective to each and everyone on the palate therefore we cannot be held accountable for the tasting notes of our exclusive whisky’s.
- The measurements of all sizes, weights, capacities, dimensions and measurements indicated on our website have a small tolerance. The size of this tolerance is set by reference to applicable legislation including Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011, Directive 76/211/EEC and The Weights and Measures of the Packaged Goods Regulations 2006 and varies from product to product and from one size, weight, capacity, dimension or measurement to the next.
Ordering on site
- When you proceed to purchase goods from Against The Grain Scotland we will contact you to confirm that your order has been placed and provide you with an order number. Once this email has been sent the contract between buyer and seller has commenced and you have up to an hour to cancel this order. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of what you are ordering. If for some reason we cannot provide you with the product you have bought we will contact you as soon as possible and refund you the total cost of the product.
Returns
- No returns will be accepted for alcohol due to the nature of this product, except when the wrong products have been delivered. You will need to send back the product (shipping costs on us) in the same condition and packaging it was delivered in before you will receive correct product. If the product has been damaged, lost or stolen in transport you should seek reimbursement from the delivery company through shipping insurance.
Shipping
- The cost of your delivery will be displayed to you during the check out process. We will contact you to tell you once order has been shipped, if for any reason order has been delayed for any reason out with our control we will take the correct steps to minimise time delay. If there is a risk of substantial delay of two weeks you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received.
- If you are not home at the time of delivery and have not left note with the courier where to leave package, courier’s will normally leave with a neighbour, in a safe place or attempt to redeliver.
- If you order a product for delivery to one of the International Delivery Destinations, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes which are applied when the delivery reaches that destination. There may also be administration charges imposed by foreign customs authorities or by the courier. Please note that we have no control over these charges and we cannot predict their amount.
Age verification
- You must be of legal age to access Against The Grain Scotland’s website and to be the legal age of buying and consuming alcohol in the United Kingdom and any other country you are sending too.
- Deliveries must be accepted by someone of the age 18 years old or older and the courier may request to see ID.
Privacy
- We take steps to protect your privacy and comply with all applicable UK data protection legislation. The data we collect from you is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order or sending you any promotions in future. We will never disclose any of your personal information with third parties and your card details are not retained and are completely removed from our system after your order is processed or cancelle
