GlenDronach 16 year old Single Cask

GlenDronach 16 year old Single Cask is a sophisticated vintage whisky that was matured in Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheon in July 1995 then bottled in August 2011. A total of 554 bottles were captured at 53.3% ABV. Quite dry on the nose with crisp apple, earthy oak tones and hints of chocolate. To taste there is sweet vanilla, caramel, ripe cherry and charred oak. Finishing well balanced with sweetness and savory with sherry notes, dried fruits, leather and caramels.
