Blair Athol 10 year old 2009 Hunter Laing First Edition

Blair Athol Distillery was established in 1798 in Pitlochry and with footprints in four centuries it is one of oldest working malt whisky distilleries in Scotland. This special distillery has crested this single cask edition which was bottled in 2009 and has been aged for 10 years in a Sherry butt. From this malt you should expect a nose of apples, strawberries and caramel. The palate is sweet and fruity with red berries, vanilla and spice. The finish is long and fruity with white pepper.
