Highland Park 17 year old Ice Edition

Highland Park Ice edition was matured in ex bourbon casks for 17 years to create a beautifully complex single malt which is bottled at cask strength of 53.9%- The Ice edition is presented in a spectacular blue glass bottle to reflect shards of glittering ice with a fine crafted wooden stand shaped like a mountain- which is a chilly representation of celebrating Viking sagas recorded in the oldest Norse poems, the Poetic Edda. This special malt has notes of coconut, barbecued pineapple and banana, with hints of bonfires, smoked almonds and heather. To taste spiced oak, toasted vanilla pods, subtle smoke with the sweetness of Battenberg cake. The finish is long and elegant with the trademark Highland Park smoke and heather notes leaving tastes of vanilla, sugared almonds and toasted sooty smoked marshmallows. This is a limited release that will melt the ice in your veins on a cold night.
