Which was distilled in sherry oak casks in 1977 and bottled in 2006 with only 249 bottles being produced and is presented in a beautiful wooden box. The nose of the Macallan 28 years old opens with a rich and inviting combination of citrus lemon, a hint of sweet and smooth leathery notes. Tastes that delicately tantalize your taste buds with limes, lemon, grapefruit and avocado which harmonize with honey, vanilla, liquorice and a touch of peat. The finish is a lingering journey with dull spiciness, dark chocolate and an abundance of smoky peat.
