Macallan Gold Double Cask

Macallan Gold Double Cask was made part of the new core range in 2018. This malt is matured in a combination of first fill and refill American oak and European oak sherry casks to create an incredibly smooth and rich flavour. Soft golden in colour, this is one of the lightest whiskies in the Macallan range, but is still packed with typical Speyside flavours. A lemon citrus on the nose with zesty orange peel and oaky vanilla notes. The palate reveals a light sweet flavour of apples, more citrus and ginger. This makes for an overall fresh and lightly sweet malt whisky.
