Description
Distilled and aged by Old Hobart Distillery in South-East Tasmania, then matured in a single Port cask that has been cut down into a quarter cask (100 litre) which increases the speed of interaction between the wood and the liquid which in turn produces a more intense flavour. Giving smells of Vanilla, oak and currants. Tastes of Blackcurrent, dark chocolate and oak. The finish is subtle, balanced and dry. Only 160 bottles produced.
