Paul John 5 Year Old India Cadenhead

A special bottle from Cadenhead’s to celebrate their 175th birthday. This is an Indian single malt whisky from Paul John Distillery, aged for 5 years in an oak cask until bottling in Summer 2017 from a Bourbon Hogshead for Cadenhead’s World Whiskies range at full cask strength. 360 bottles produced.

On The nose we have Warming sandlewood, pecans, sweet strawberries and hints of dry peat. To flavour we have soft ash, wood spice with lots of red fruits and black pepper. The finish is well balanced between spice and sweet eith hints of vanilla, faint peat, cinnamon and golden syrup.
