Springbank 25 year old 2022 Limited Edition

Springbank distillery is Scotland’s oldest independent family owned producer and their whiskies are crafted in small batches using traditional methods- which makes every Springbank release exciting and special in their own way. The 25 year old 2002 Limited edition was matured in a marriage of sherry and bourbon casks to create a long lasting treat to your senses. Dark amber in colour shows the richness of this whisky. On the nose you get intense cherry menthol, rich blood orange mixed with milk chocolate and apple crumble. To taste, you pick up musty, earthy tones from this whisky with subtle peat smoke, sugar strawberries, liquorice and walnuts finishing with a well balanced dram of sweet and savoury.
